So starting in the beginning the selfie was taken in long beach (if you wanna read about that I have a post already made)

The second photo is of me an two friends enjoying the DTLA art walk, it happens on the second Thursday every month.

My roommates and I went to a pumpkin patch in the valley, because we wanted to experience fall.

Some dried up flowers I got to decorate our apartment.

I then when to the Oprea with my one class to see the making of moby dick. Not my favorite story but it was a wonderful experience.

Also the LA Oprea house is gorgeous inside and out.

They were celebrating day of the dead an I thought the paintings on the statutes were interesting and inspiring.

And then finally for Halloween I went as a zombie an went out to a few party's.

Late night thoughts...

Hi there, so it's like 1:54am here an I can't sleep so I thought I post something since I haven't in like a month or so. I meant to post something about Halloween but I just never finished it or saved it so we're just going to let that go. But anyways why I can't sleep is because I got sick over the weekend an now I'm nauseous when ever I lay down. I also had to get up for 8 this morning to go to work for a meeting so when I got back I went back to sleep and slept till 3pm. Oh an that beautiful picture of coffee yea I had that drink at like 9pm and I'm suppose to be on this diet where I don't drink caffeine but for some reason this whole month I've been just getting caffein. I'm seriously just screwing my self over. I think I'm going to fast tomorrow on the whole caffeine thing so I can go back on this diet, but I'm scared that I'm going to get headaches because that's all I've been drinking this quarter. I'm going to have to carry a water jug with me all week. Oh boy. But I think I'm going to try an go to sleep again because I have to get up at 9am to get ready to go meet my class at LACMA for 11:30 an I need to make sure they can't tell I look tired. Oh something good happened today though, I got tickets to go see one direction perform on Jimmy Kimmel! I'm so excited because I've never seen them live before an since this is their last year touring I needed to see them. So that's something that's keeping me going. Oh my roommates and I started decorating for Christmas and we put up a mini tree! I'm just so excited for Christmas, to me it's true the most magical time of the year. I don't know how much longer I have all I know is I'm going home the 19th of December and I'm excited to see snow! Sometimes I get really tired of LA. Ok well goodnight. Xoxo

I wear pink for....

So it's breast cancer awareness month an this month is kind of big in my family. It's because a lot of the women in my family have dealt with breast cancer. A few years ago we lost my aunt to it and than not long after her daughter just found out that she has it. So every women in my family has been getting checkups every year just to make sure. I'm only 20 but the day I turn 21 I have to go to the doctors and start my routinely visits. So this is is coming from the heart, if you have someone in your family (even one person) with breast cancer, you should go get checked out.

Long Beach

So on Tuesday I went to Long Beach to visit my cousin, he came in for work. While down there we explored the area next to the convention center since thats where he was working. There were so many adorable small shops and restaurants that made me feel like I wasn't in California. One of my favorite shops was one that was owned by another FIDM Alumni Kat. The Shop is called Make Collectives, and it has a little of fashion, home decor and beauty. Here are a few photos from that day.

We than meet up with his boss, at Berlin Bistro for brunch.

And than right next to the restaurant was this record shop called Finger Prints. I feel like if you go to Long Beach you should definitely visit these three places. But I really feel like you should visit MADE in Long Beach. The owner of the shop seriously helped us find some amazing stores and told us about some events that were happening this week.

Hi there, so my name is Leanna. The Marie Sophia part is just my middle names. I have two because the one I was born with and the other is my Catholic name. But anyways I'm twenty years old, studying fashion design at FIDM. I just finished my AA in fashion design an I'm on to my BA in design. I'm not entirely sure on what I want this blog to be about but I thought it would be a lovely thing to have an just sure with people. 2. I have five noticeable scars on my face, there were more but over time they faded away.

7. I was raised by a family full of boys.

8. Psychology interest me an it's my inspiration for the majority of my designs.

9. Pink is my actual favorite color but of course I only wear black or white.

10. My computer is currently at the Apple Store getting fixed so I've been using my phone. They said I'll have it in 3-5 days.
